Mama was recently adopted, as an already pregnant and former rat mom. Our policy is we breed our rats a maximum of two times. So this will be her first and only mischief with us!

Because of this situation, we are hoping to find Mama a home along with one of her little ones. Of course, it is really hard to know for certain if she is pregnant or not since she was bred back-to-back (I presume due to her age). She is a black, double rex, with Dumbo ears. I was told the babies should be Dumbos. We will have to wait and see if she is pregnant or not,

I did start a waitlist for her babies, because I think it’s important they have homes. For now, they will come with the stipulation that she may or may not be pregnant, therefore you will have to be on more than one list if you choose to be a part of her wait-list.

As for her personality, she was living in a bin prior to this life here at the Rattery. So cages and toys and such are all very new to her, which can make her a little extra timid. I do believe she is pregnant just based on her actions alone. But she is still very sweet, despite just getting to know me.
